Productive Day?

Had the chance to play my Legend 1 mouthpiece by CEWinds some more.

Recorded a sample of "Cherokee"(Db)  for Facebook's JAM OF THE WEEK group.

Played through CHEROKEE in 12 keys a few times.  Some of the easier keys like C concert gave me more trouble than the simpler ones..Ughhhh

What I did today...

I had a good 2 hours to sit down and play some tenor.

I have been testing out the CEWinds.com  mouthpieces for awhile now. ( The Legend 1 and 2 and the Sig)  They are all great pieces just wish I could afford them all.

Today I played a lot on the Legend 2 piece and went through "Dedicated to You" from that Johnny Hartman and John Coltrane album.  I posted a sample on my Audio/Video page.

Also listened a lot to some tracks I haven't enjoyed in awhile.

Sonny Rollins - A NIGHT AT THE VILLAGE VANGUARD - "Softly as in a Morning Sunrise"

Sonny Rollins - NOW'S THE TIME - "I Remember Clifford"

Brecker Brothers - THE RETURN OF THE BRECKER BROTHERS - "Spherical"

I listened to these over and over today.
