Thanks Pete McGuinnes for turning me onto this!
I've owned this for the longest time and haven't listened to it ever. Should of listened to it sooner.
The one thing that stood out of this album was "CHEROKEE" and I believe it's Charlie Mariano. Just great sound!
Thanks Jeff Zelnick who turned me on to this album! Nice and short and sweet..just too short!
Thanks Allen Won for turning me onto this amazing musician over a decade ago. Bravo!
Stan Getz - "FOCUS" -comp/arr. by Eddie Sauter 1961
Lee Konitz & the Gerry Mulligan Quartet - 1953
Had the chance to play my Legend 1 mouthpiece by CEWinds some more.
Recorded a sample of "Cherokee"(Db) for Facebook's JAM OF THE WEEK group.
Played through CHEROKEE in 12 keys a few times. Some of the easier keys like C concert gave me more trouble than the simpler ones..Ughhhh

Today I played a lot on the Legend 2 piece and went through "Dedicated to You" from that Johnny Hartman and John Coltrane album. I posted a sample on my Audio/Video page.
Also listened a lot to some tracks I haven't enjoyed in awhile.
